With our own label SISKIN we design, produce and sell a range of beautiful, natural and organic clothing from newborn to 8yrs+. as well as a selection for adults. Our products are beautifully made and constructed of high-quality materials. 

We also stock a range of other clothes brands, as well as shoes, toys, books and lifestyle items. We take time to carefully select the brands and products that we stock to bring our customers the very best.

MamaOwl was started 10 years ago by new mother Anna with a focus on organic merino wool clothes. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor to join our dedicated and professional team. This is a critical leadership role that enables MamaOwl to deliver the desired impact to our customers through:

• Absolute control of goods in / goods out, monitoring accuracy and product care
• Organisation and planning of delivery processes and use of relevant tools.
• Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Supervising the team of warehouse staff in daily operations of picking and processing of orders and making sure the team meet daily targets for order picking.
• Ensuring general maintenance within the warehouse is carried out to a high standard.
• Ensuring stock control.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are observed.
• Ensure a high degree of detail and focus in every job.
• Step into Customer Service roles where necessary
• Where necessary stand in for any of the roles within the warehouse including the Operations Manager role if they are on leave or sick.
• Alongside the Operations Manager managing all supplier relationships relevant to the Warehouse - Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, Raja Pak, Kilby Packaging - to name but a few.
• Show an understanding and interest in the business, making sure you have full knowledge of all brands we work with and their key selling features and benefits. As well as our own label. (We will provide training)
• Show an interest and understanding of the MamaOwl Customer and what she expects from the brand.
• Respect for the ethos and ideals of MamaOwl and the way we work with products and people.

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse management or team leader roles, or other industry operational management experience.
• Highly analytical mind and good at managing systems and technology
• A very good level of numeracy and literacy. Strong written and verbal communicator.
• Ability to problem-solve, influence and make considered and efficient decisions.
• Have attention to detail and care about getting it right.
• A good leader, who’s always looking for ways to help the team.
• Friendly, calm and efficient – even on the busiest days.
• Excited about the challenge of a varied and fast-paced job.
• We don’t use forklifts in our warehouse – so no need for forklift training or certification.
