Hvid products arrive pre-washed so there is no need to wash them before use.

Merino wool does not need to be washed frequently due its self cleaning properties. It is suggested to air your items out at dawn or in your bathroom, during or just after a shower as moist air cleans you woollen garments.

If you do need to wash your items, it is recommended to spot wash them when the dirty area is small and hand wash them when they need an all over clean. Use a washing machine at your own risk.

Wash with lukewarm water (MAX 30°) only with a few drops of an (organic) WOOL SOAP.

Immerse the product for a maximum of 5 minutes (do not leave it in the water for too long!) Don’t let it soak as the wool will can shrink. Avoid temperature differences and friction as this causes shrinkage. Rinse the detergent out of the garment with cold or lukewarm water (making sure you use water of the same temperature for washing and rinsing). Place the blanket on a towel and gently roll the excess water out. Avoid twisting or squeezing the water out as this can distort the item. 

Let the product dry flat and wrinkle free.
