Fairechild product care

Product Care:

To make it easy for you, Faire Child garments are machine washable! Just make sure to wash in warm water and do not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. For best results, put your garment in the dryer every time you wash it, this reinforces the eco-repel finish on the garment and helps keep the welded seams tight and secure. If you don't have a dryer, you can also iron the seams or run a hair dryer over them.

For ironing, iron on a low setting not exceeding 110 degrees Celsius. (Do no iron the reflective transfers). Faire Child products should not be bleached or dry cleaned.

These products are made from 100% recycled polyether/ester.

Faire Child have a 'take back' program where they will recycle your old, worn out Faire Child garments. To find out more about this program, contact them directly.

Faire Child Fabric Technology:

The membrane is made using advanced processes in polyester, and consists solely of oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen, making it fully recyclable. It poses no health risk, being both PTFE-free and PFC-free. The material has the feel of cotton, but is entirely non-porous, with a structure that pulls vapour through the clothing to evaporate away. It remains completely waterproof under pressure; moisture stays out while kneeling on damp ground, sitting in snow or wearing a backpack.

Sympatex outer membrane and lining are made from a yarn produced from recycled PET bottles. The recycling process applied to the bottles does not add any harmful chemicals or pollutants. Their production process also strikes a healthier ecological balance - with a 32% CO2 reduction, 60% less energy and 94% less water consumption than most comparable oil-based polymer productions. Sympatex is certified in accordance with the strict requirements of Oeko-tex Standard 100 and BlueSign.
