I ordered these tights for my baby a few days before 5 months in the 6-12 month size for the upcoming winter season, my thinking being that though they’ll be large they’ll last her through the winter, however I received them just days after she turned 5 months and they barely fit her that day! Mama Owl was very helpful and offered to let me return them but the size up was not available and she needed them so, since they’re wool, we kept them and she got a few weeks wear out of them then they went in the box we have for future children. I do feel like they pilled quite a lot even for wool, but that being said I would order a couple of sizes up in the future.

Love the colour and love the tights for my new granddaughter. Will buy lots more colours!

Lovely color and fit

Both my friend and I rely on these tights as a wardrobe staple for our daughters. We’ve used them for two years now (every size Mama Owl carries) and I wish we could buy their next size up here for next autumn. They fit under clothing nicely, look lovely under dresses/outfits of all colours, and are the softest wool. It’s hard to find 100% wool tights and of the wool tights we’ve tried, these are the softest. Fully recommend!

These are by far the warmest, best fitting and most versatile clothing item I have bought for my baby and I absolutely love it! It keeps her warm with layering when we go outside, and it's perfect for floor time in the winter as well.
