The starting point for Apolina’s SS26 collection was the beautiful Charleston house in England. Once home to artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, and gathering place for the Bloomsbury group. This special space filled with creativity and quiet rebellion, alongside souvenirs from travel, inspired a bohemian mood.
Softness and daydreams referencing vintage Hollywood, the artist Faye Weiwei, English cottage garden florals and the sun-drenched colours of 1970s California and European handicrafts have all influenced the collection.
A dream-like colour palette of tonal pastels, with highlight colours of Tangerine, Peony, Sea Glass and Azul, build an eclectic creative mood, inspired by the studio at Charleston with its travelled feel and collected objects. Modern colour pops bring an optimism, while signature embroideries, prints, ruffles and bespoke broderie anglaise, echo a traditional cottage garden blooming with delphiniums, peonies and sweet peas.
