At the heart of all Apolina collections is the pure joy of colour and craft. This season we delve into a vision of traditional English Village life. This rural mood has been inspired by the work of local artists Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious and the great Bardfields artists' community of the 1930's-70's. 

With nature, colour and traditional English farming smocks as a starting point, the collection brings in a Swedish folk art letters influence, lending a layered scrapbook feel to the rural English references.

Tradition and craftsmanship meet a contemporary attitude to styling. Intricate hand smocking is framed by naive embroidery motifs. Pops of bright jewel tones pair with Apolina’s signature natural palette, giving a modern eccentricity that allows more playful styling.
