Not pleasant, unfinished feeling

I had a bamboo spoon that my first lived, so i got this in hopes it would be similar. It's not. My biggest complaint is that the edges are super rough, like it has not been sanded finely enough. There's no way I'd put this in a baby's mouth. Maybe mine was defective, I don't know. I'm curious how it would hold up to being bitten over time, but I don't think I'll find out (unless I sand it myself). Too bad.

Sorry to hear that you were not happy with this product. It is a light wood and therefore not that similar to bamboo other than the weight of it. We advise to give it a good rub over with olive oil before use. However if you decide that it is not quite what you were after, you can always return it, if you have not used it. We hope this helps.
