Rifò
Rifò was born in 2017 to provide an answer to the problem of overproduction in the clothing industry: mountains of unsold clothes destined for the incinerator, the result of an economic system based on quantity and not quality. This is the panorama observed by Niccolò Cipriani, founder of Rifò. From a successful crowdfunding Rifò quickly transformed into a sustainable clothing startup and grew constantly, until it closed two rounds of investments and now has a team of around 25 people.
Rifò became B Corp certified in 2020, a certification that rewards companies that are committed to having a positive social and environmental impact. Today Rifò products are sold in more than 400 stores in Italy and abroad, as well as sold online.
The brand selects recycled, natural and biodegradable materials. These characteristics make the brand’s garments long-lasting and recyclable once again. By using fine fibres such as cashmere and wool, the brand creates new valuable sustainable products, giving new life to what was once considered waste.
