Little Kin Studio started out on a living room table in Brooklyn, New York. Danish-born Kat own, designs and runs the brand and we have loved what she does since its conception.

Little Kin Studio has experienced a constant organic growth, dictated by the slow crafting methods used in the production of every single doll.

At the moment, Kat, her three kids and their dog reside in Denmark while her husband still lives and works in Brooklyn, where they all hope to be reunited when the world once again feels like a gentler place. Until then, Kat will keep designing new dolls and animals, for kids all over the world to play with.

Kat has been a customer myself at MamaOwl from when Anna just launched the shop, she was thrilled to be asked to do this collaboration. 

She really wanted to design something that was truly reflecting that warm and cosy MamaOwl spirit and of course keep building on Anna’s love for earthy colours and organic wool. The colours are very true to both MamaOwl and the tiny hand knitted sweaters are just the cutest.
