Job Summary

Working within a small team to help grow a fast developing childrenswear e-commerce site. The role is providing admin support to the Merchandiser and the Operations Manager by managing the administration systems within the business and developing new systems where necessary.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing the delivery schedule – liaising with suppliers to find out when deliveries are due, tracking those deliveries and keeping the whole team informed by updating the delivery schedule on a regular basis.
  • Running sales reports on a Monday morning and using these to fill in various sheets to help inform our Monday trade meeting.
  • Liaising with the Warehouse team in person and online re: deliveries, stock issues etc.
  • Assisting the Merchandiser in pulling off seasonal sales reports, collating data ahead of the buying periods and communicating this with each buyer
  • Assisting the Merchandiser in regularly reviewing our continuity assortment, helping to decide when to order more.
  • Assisting the Merchandiser with price changes during markdown periods
  • Work with the Buying Administrator to manage transfers between the Warehouse and the Photography studio
  • Learn how to create upload sheets and upload products and images onto our website so that you can support the Buying Administrator with this task during busy periods.
  • Assisting with invoice filing
  • Assisting the Operations Manager by pulling off courier expense reports.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager by pulling off weekly reports on the warehouse team KPI's.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in updating Standard Operating Procedures as and when necessary.
  • Carrying out Adhoc reporting as and when needed.
  • Complete any ad hoc administration duties as and when needed.



Previous administration experience is a must, preferably with numbers and reports.

Previous head office retail or operations experience is ideal.

A very high level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

A good communicator who’s always looking for ways to help.

Have attention to detail and care about getting it right.

Friendly, calm, and efficient – even on the busiest days.
