Balaclavas are incredibly versatile and can be worn in multiple ways either as a hooded scarf when pulled down off the head, or as a full head and neck covering balaclava for all round protection from the winds These wool balaclavas are lightweight and naturally wick moisture away from the body as well as being quick drying.
They are a perfect accessory for little ones who otherwise manage to pull off a hat. They fit well under and overall and hooded outerwear and provide maximum insulation. On the coldest of days you can also wear another hat on top.

Hvid is a Belgian knitwear brand working with soft GOTS certified Merino Wool in beautiful tones, to create long lasting practical and season-less products.
As merino wool is thermoregulating, their products are wearable during all seasons, thanks to the exceptionally soft wool which helps keeps you warm when it’s cold and cools you down when the weather is hot. This is the reason it is prefect for newborns, babies and toddlers. These timeless designs and gender neutral products are made to last and be passed on once outgrown.
Hvid produce their products in a small family knitting factory in Belguim, very near their home and all items then go on to be finished in their home atelier.
They put lots of energy in making their products, hoping they will be cherished for years to come.
Product Care+-
Hvid products arrive pre-washed so there is no need to wash them before use.
Merino wool does not need to be washed frequently due its self cleaning properties. It is suggested to air your items out at dawn or in your bathroom, during or just after a shower as moist air cleans you woollen garments.
If you do need to wash your items, it is recommended to spot wash them when the dirty area is small and hand wash them when they need an all over clean. Use a washing machine at your own risk.
Wash with lukewarm water (MAX 30°) only with a few drops of an (organic) WOOL SOAP.
Immerse the product for a maximum of 5 minutes (do not leave it in the water for too long!) Don’t let it soak as the wool will can shrink. Avoid temperature differences and friction as this causes shrinkage. Rinse the detergent out of the garment with cold or lukewarm water (making sure you use water of the same temperature for washing and rinsing). Place the blanket on a towel and gently roll the excess water out. Avoid twisting or squeezing the water out as this can distort the item.
Let the product dry flat and wrinkle free.
