Caroline owns and runs Apolina and we have loved working with her on this anniversary collaboration. The process is all so creative.

Known and loved for their embroidered cottons and linens we have been working with Caroline for many years. Caroline designs it in the UK and it is crafted in India.

We talked to Caroline about our collaboration:

"It's always really nice to get another creative perspective when working on designs, I think collaborating with other creatives is one of my favourite things to do. It always brings fresh ideas and pushes you to think of different product types. 

First we chatted through ideas and looked through our archive and at our print options. We worked very closely with Anna and the MamaOwl team to decide on pieces. Our team in India then brought the pieces to life, first the fabric is embroidered and then fabrics cut and sewn up into garments and then our signature hand finishes are done by our in house 'Aunties'.

Both our Sissy dress and the Minnie jumpsuit have hand smocking"

"We are very happy with how the pieces turned out. They feel like such special signature brand pieces. Our Minnie jumpsuit and Sissy dress are much loved archive styles and updated into the blue Prairie print which is reminiscent of our first ever Apolina print. These special editions feel perfectly suited to celebrating the  'story so far' of MamaOwl & Apolina"
