Adult Hand Knit Sweater Knud - Mustard

The sweater is named after the polar researcher Knud Rasmussen because we were inspired by the sweater that he wore to the North Pole in 1921. The model ended up being rather different, but the pattern is the same. Despite its name, the sweater is unisex. We also have matching children's sweaters, hats and mittens in the same colour as this item.

Hand-knit in by Danish Grannies Denmark with very soft and light 100% soft highland wool.

The model in the photo is 5ft6" and wears a size M Knud sweater. She usually wears a UK10-12.

A bit long for its width

Perhaps because it is unisex I find this sweater too long for its relatively snug fit. There is too much extra length to try to arrange round my middle and hips to look good. I would have loved it in a shorter version like my mother’s ski jumper from the 1950s. Still love it though and have kept it.

A beautiful sweater. The only criticism I have is that around the wrists and around the neck the material is slightly loose. I would like to see a firmer knit

Beautiful Sweater

Both of my daughters have had this sweater for a year now and they love theirs! We take them with us to the snow every time we go. I decided to treat myself to one and I love mine too!
