I left the previous review, in which I mentioned washing on sanitize. We have now washed them in a different washer on santitize and it made them look very worn out: I would not recommend at all. Our previous washings must not have been heating up the water as much. We now try to wash on cold and hang dry.

Another update: the straps on our youngest stay up fine now as far as we can tell, and the kids are happy to wear these.

Worn with a base layer under and a wool sweater over top of the overalls, the cut looks like pants, but with the benefit that their backs stay warm and covered when they squat, etc.

These are great overalls and our sons still wear them often.

These overalls look adorable on my sons ages two, three and four. These are some of my favorite clothes of my sons, however they do prefer some of their other clothes that are more comfortable, though they are still willing to wear these often. On my two year old the straps do fall off his shoulders more than the other overalls we own from a different brand (though not often enough to be a dealbreaker. The straps stay on my four year old well.). The positive tradeoff is that the backs of these look better. These are noticably higher quality than the other brand of overalls we own. The color is very flattering for outdoor photos, and the color accents the blonde and dirty blonde hair of my sons well. These have been worn often by my little boys and have been worn through playing in mud, etc., and have held up well. I routinely wash them on the sanitize cycle (the tag does not recommended this) and they have held up well, obviously with fading and dulling ( probably from my choice of washing cycle), and I like the rustic look that results.

I love these dungarees so much- perfect fit, sturdy, and beautiful for my hard playing and dancing boys 🌺
