About The Brand+-

Angulus

ANGULUS is a family run company that was founded 120 years ago in Copenhagen, Denmark. Making high quality shoes for the quality-conscious customer, that are not only beautiful to look at but also offer unparalleled comfort.

Originally founded in 1904 by Willy Madsen’s father, who owned a cobbler’s shop on Nørrebrogade. Willy was a teacher and disagreed with the pointed shoes that many children wore at that time. He thought they were both unhealthy for growing feet and hindered natural movement. In 1928, Willy astounded the Danish footwear industry with his new foot-formed shoes, developed in collaboration with doctors and physiotherapists.

Eventually, in 1949, Willy employed a leather buyer by the name of Roland Dawe. In the years that followed, he travelled across Europe in search of quality leather. Roland had an eye for quality and also for the handsome foreign shoes he saw.

Today ANGULUS shoes is a proud family owned company with Roland Dawe’s son and grandson, Christian and Sebastian Dawe, working side by side developing the ANGULUS company.

The shoes are designed in Copenhagen and manufactured in Portugal, where 130 dedicated shoemakers run the factory.

Made in Portugal.

Product Care+-

Depending on the leather, most Angulus shoes just require a gentle wipe with a damp cloth, to keep dust and dirt off the leather. Heavier scuffs can be polished with a good quality leather polish if needed but we do not recommend the use of waterproofing sprays or treatments as these shoes have been carefully made without harmful chemicals.

TEX footwear (made with a waterproof membrane) should not be submerged in water, neither during use or cleaning. If the boots get wet or damp, they should be left to dry out thoroughly before wearing again. Air dried naturally, away from a heat source.

Leather is a natural material, the tone of the skins can vary even within the same dye batch. You may receive a product that is either lighter or darker than the images depict. Leathers change over time and use and they will develop their own unique patina through wear. This is not a fault of the product but a part of its unique quality and one of the beauties of using this natural material. Your leather footwear will age beautifully with care, adding character to your product.

Size Guide

Angulus use European shoe sizing. Some shoes fit a little differently from each other, depending on their width and linings. We recommend that you measure both feet from heel to toe and then follow the guidelines listed in the product description or download the correct size guide below. Check the individual product descriptions to find out which chart you need for your chosen style shoe.

ANGULUS WOMEN'S FISHERMAN SANDAL:

We find this style sizes differently to other brands. Please check the insole measurements below, to select the correct size. We recommend to order using insole measurements rather than by selecting your usual shoe size.

Approx. insole measurements:

EU37: 24.6 cm
EU38: 25.2 cm
EU39: 25.8 cm
EU40: 26.2 cm
EU41: 27.2 cm
EU42: 27.8 cm

If you require any help, just email your foot measurements to hello@mamaowl.net and let us know the styles you are looking at. We can help advise you on the best fit.

See the product description for which size guide to print. Make sure to print at 100%, when you print, do NOT scale to fit.
